A few years ago, when redundancy brought new challenges, Jim Liggat decided to launch a new service and called it Quality First Joinery. The business has become steadily established serving an increasing number of satisfied customers.
Whether you require a small urgent job such as repairing your broken door lock and handles, or something bigger, but equally important, such as restoring your worn-out kitchen, both will be undertaken with the same integrity and professionalism.
Why not treat yourself to a purpose-made storage solution and create smart space to eliminate the stress of all that clutter?
You will receive a reliable service. From the first visit and free quotation to the last speck of dust vacuumed from your floor, every aspect of the job will be carried out to an agreed timetable that works for you.
Jim served his apprenticeship in carpentry and joinery in Oxford, working for a family-run business, and received his City and Guilds certificate in 1981. Since then he has gained a wide-ranging experience including bespoke hand-built kitchens, purpose-made joinery and period property restoration. In 1994 Jim studied for a Higher National Diploma in Fine Furniture Restoration and Conservation. In 1996 he moved to Scotland working as a furniture restorer & conservator and later joined the Care and Repair team in North Lanarkshire providing a range of joinery and plumbing repairs for retired and / or disabled home owners.
We look forward to helping you, and to your becoming one of our many satisfied customers.
Avoid disappointment, and put Quality First in your home;
if a job’s worth doing, it’s worth doing well.
